Tallgrass Prairie Horizon, a video exploration of the Flint Hills, Kansas landscape.

An ongoing project begun in 2014, this video wall, a giant panorama, documents the experiences of life on the ranch of Munson Angus Farms, fifth generation Black Angus ranchers and winners of the Grand Royal blind ribeye tasting as best beef in the United States. The installation references the Prairie School tradition of an architectural frieze surrounding an interior space that documents life on the prairie, often showing men and women at work. The installation also attempts to capture the essence of the tallgrass prairie horizon, extending endlessly in all directions.
